100 Marbles in a Jar, Not a good question at a bar
Well it rhymed..
Materials: 2 Jars 100 marbles, 50 red,50 blue
You need to place all the marbles into the jars. You can place them however you want. All the marbles must be in a jar. You want to maximize the chances that when you pick 1 random marble out a one of the randomly selected jars it will be red.
Example
You put 25 red marbles in Jar A with 25 blue ones.
You put 25 red marbles in Jar B with 25 blue ones.
You have a .5 chance of selecting Jar A and then a .5 chance of selecting a red marble. = .25
You ahve a .5 chance of selecting Jar B and then .5 chance of selecting a red marble. = .25
.25+.25 = .5
