I quite after recording. I was the lead guitarist. Their site's under maintenance as the break-up, but the chopper chicks MySpace profile is still up. Before I dropped them from my friends list, I put up a comment calling them hacks.

That's all me. If you scroll down and see the picture of them from a show after I left, you'll notice the rythym player where I used to stand on stage left. He's on the right in this picture attached. He plays all of the leads differently live as they just picked up a rythym guitar player. (Frankly because, as good as he is, he's nowhere near me as a shredder.) The drummer in the middle left as well and is now drumming for The Skulls out in L.A. I won't talk shit about him in any way. He's one of my best friends.

Basically, now they're a frontman, a bass player, and a rythym guitarist that was playing my riffs when I was there. They're a cover band, if you ask me. I haven't seen them play once since I left because they're hacks playing my damn songs for their personal street cred. Fuck 'em.

I'm not doing anything. I've talked to people about starting a Black Metal band (i.e. Emperor, Dimmu Borgir) which is really what I want, but talent is hard to find. My first band was a Misfits cover band and then a grindcore band before chopper chicks. I'm heavily considering just doing a 3-piece doom band with a Sabbath/Electric Wizard/High on Fire style with me on vox/guitar.

I don't think I'm gonna be in another rock n' roll band anytime soon. Most rock n' roll musicians just wanna be in a band to say they're in a band. Pussy and free booze are things that I get anyway. "I've paid my dues in the scene," I guess. We'll see. For now, I'm sick of the fashion show mentality of the Chicago Rock scene.
