    Default all-in rules question

Ok this is my first post however i think i have a good guestion. consider this scenario:

you are playing in person and you are in showdown and your opponent goes all in, your not quite sure what he has and you want to try and read your opponent. Could you then flip your cards ( without calling the all -in ) while watching your opponent to make a read.

    is that legal?

Depends on the venue...you should ask for a ruling BEFORE you do it. I think i remember this coming up on a Poker After Dark episode where Dan N wanted to show one of his cards....
