I’ve been playing poker for a few years, and would like to build up a bankroll and take a shot at playing for a living. Since I’m in Florida, I’m dealing with 100max buy-ins at casinos and poker rooms. I play ranging from .50/1, 1/2, 2/5 and rarely 5/10 (only when I am able to get on a new table) NL.
I just wanted some advice from other live players.. I tend to win about 3 out of 4 times playing. I’ve set a max loss limit of 300 per session, but I usually leave when I am up 300 playing 1/2 or 500 playing 2/5. I wasn’t sure if it really was a good idea to limit my winnings but I usually do for few reasons: I appear more humble (often beating same people week after week ), for now just trying to build up a bankroll and it is hard to get up -- not wanting to risk all my chips then start back a 100. That’s my logic but I wanted others opinions? I try to stay very polite and humble since dealing with regular players who often seem to be losing players. I tend to attract much more attention than normal since I’m an attractive female. Also wanting to know what is considered a good bankroll for 100buyin 2/5 NL? Anyone else have Florida live experience? Advice? Thanks.

cool beans! i know for me personally it would help to see how attractive you really are before i can offer insight. im an attractive male who played in the San Fran area and i just wear tight jeans and they just hand me the chips. that last part was a joke but work it for you.
