So there is no overall perk to going prestige mode? Having to start shit all over for weaponry and such seems like more of a pain in the ass than a perk.

Also, anyway to make a new name/account???

I think Im not sure how i tried yesterday on my bros ps3 couldnt get it ask dee

you have an hdtv im assuming? id get one its really sick on there and so far the only game i see worth that much but i havent played many, i cant wait for a cod5 modern warfare, i hated the old WWII COD's

personally the game itself is fun, campaign mode, although the one level where u r with one other guy and are in grass camo suits, crawling around with like 100 guys and 4 tanks walking 2 feet next to u is creepy....but other than that fun

online mode...sick. random nades killing u is quite annoying but u get used to it, features are pretty cool, but search and destroy dying once and having to wait i dont really like....i think they should allow more than one feature on a gun like red dot and silencer...something like that

and some maps are just way too small so hopefully if theres a new one like this they make it more spread out, other than that i really like it

i guess in prestige u just get a symbol by your name. not really worth it imo

Prestige Mode was put in place so that you can get a "fresh start" and keep the game "feeling new". I love it. Actually, I don't understand why some people, like yourself, don't like it.

i like Prestige Mode but 10 different levels is too much..

One Reason i don't like it b/c i mostly play Search&Destroy. Im always in Full Stealth (silencer, uav jammer, etc.). Having to wait a few sessions to get this stuff back or to get overkill always sucks. But if you play a lotta Team Deathmatch then Prestige Mode won't be that bad.

When your in the Cross Media Bar (PS3 Menu System) scroll to the far LEFT.

Create a new account is there.

So do my stats get wiped clean when I hit Prestige mode? Because that'd be boss. I've been crushing it since about level 45 but because I let my buddy play on my account when he's over, and because of when I first started (COD4 is my first FPS), my kill/death is .75 -- that has to change, haha

i think the biggest killers actually have bad stats, they dont really matter, as long as u keep leveling up i dont think anyone has like 2 to 1 stats

i think prestige should give u some sort of advancement

like i said maybe by prestige 3 u can put a jammer, silencer, and red sot or scope...as it would fit just some type of perks
