I don't know what you guys consider "A GOOD" player but it seems the ones you like are really kinda dicks that just want all of the $5 players to kiss their ass because they can play in higher games. Why did Alex screw with money? Why did bboy try to rip someone off? Why do they post vids of their big wins?
A good player is anyone learning and trying to improve their game. bboy contributed a hell of lot more to the forum when he was playing $1/$2 games than he ever did when he started playing high.
Sure, the higher stakes guys tend to give correct advice but they don't contribute much more than "easy raise" or "auto-fold" to the discussions. I've said this before, if you give someone 5 minutes to think through a hand anyone who has a basic understanding of poker will come up with a profitable play. We need more theory discussion to really get this forum going, if you want to be told how to play a hand go post on 4. I'd rather discuss theoretical stuff like we used to: should you raise AK after 5 limpers, etc.
That's what will improve your game. A good player and a good contributer to the forum are 2 different things.
