lol @ our "parliament" being open for business during the summer.....welcome to the land of the most useless politicians in the world.
i dont live in dublin and tbh i actually hate the place(esp the nightlife about it) but if u gimme a little think time, im sure ill come up with some ideas for exciting things that u and ur college buddies can get up to during ur time here(stop it people, im not thinking that kinda stuff, srsly  )
despite what i think of it, dublin actually is a fun place to be and despite our reputation, everything isnt centred around drinking.
be prepared for a shock at the cost of living in dublin tho

Dee is right, be prepared to spend a LOT of money. The weak ass Dollar aint worth much against the Euro, or pretty much any other currency for that matter.

You may be aware of exchange rates but it doesnt mean you are aware how much a meal out or a train fare costs in Dublin.
Probably 2-3x what it does in US.
