Real christmas tree or fake?
A real christmas tree is one you usually buy from an outdoor place - and it smells like pine. So, do you have a real christmas tree or a fake one? Are you a huge fan of pine - and you wanted a christmas tree, or is this year your first time ever getting a real christmas tree?
We've never had a real christmas tree because we'd rather have a fake one.

We've used a fake one for a long time now, it's so much easier, cheaper, and cleaner.

You can get a fake pine...and light some pine scented candles.. and you'll get the same effect without shedding/bugs and what not!

I don't think we've ever used a real one.

Price of fake tree I bought today was $80. Estimated years of usage = 10.
Price of real tree I saw was $70. Estimated years of usage = 1.
After 10 years:
Price of fake tree = $80
Price of real tree = $700
The decision with highest EV is clearly to buy fake tree.
