oh ...
ok .. moral dilemma.. these are the posts from the forum... I aint telling you where it is... not because its spam .. here they are:
Yeah, I play Texas Hold 'Em!
Perhaps we could organise a little tournament sometime. Though I'm sure it's against forum rules to promote gambling, feel free to add me on MSN;
im up for that..but i don't do online play.
online is rigged anyways... Cool
sounds like a plan. i'll be in for a few cash games in person ?
Onlines for grannies and people who arn't old enough to gamble
I play tourney's but I can't trust myself on a no-limit cash game Razz
aha, me neither.
Went a bit -insane- in college one time. Drew out £100 to play one hand. Bluffed.
Almost lost.
I had A/10 spades, flop came out 5h, Jd, Js. I went all in, other guy flat called.
I was like 'crap'. I knew he had something.
He turned over A/J.
Turn and River were 3s Qs.
Lol.
Was a good day.
The thing that puts me off cash games is a very good friend of mine has a full blown addiction to poker.
He's played online for a couple of years now, his biggest win being $24,000 and $18,000 with his biggest loss being $10,000. I think he's finally quit just breaking even or with a few Gs stashed away for a rainy day.
It's insane watching him though, playing online with 5 tables open at one time - flicking between each one tossing hundreds of dollars around.
We always have a quality lads evening tourney with a few bottles of Jacky D and a tenner each in.
