Your most vivid childhood memory.
Definitions of vivid on the Web:
graphic: evoking lifelike images within the mind; "pictorial poetry and prose"; "graphic accounts of battle"; "a lifelike portrait"; "a vivid description"
having the clarity and freshness of immediate experience; "a vivid recollection"
Alright thought of writing this thread while writing a paper on social constructionism.
I have two of them that come to mind right away.
1. It's 1997 and a couple of weeks before Christmas and I had just gotten off the plane and taken my first steps on American soil, it was me, my brother, sister, and my mom. People are talking all around me and I don't know what they're saying, I'm just amazed at how big everything is. We walk around and some people begin screaming our names, it was my aunts and uncles along with my cousins and grandparents. This is my first time meeting most of them and honestly, i only knew the names of 1 of my uncles and my grandparents, we all hug and i feel smothered but i like it, I'm in America. We get all of our bags and head to the cars and the one thing i remember the most is seeing this huge tire on our way home on the highway. During the drive back everyone is smiling and talking. My mom has the biggest smile on her face that I've ever seen, my grandma is hugging and kissing me and my siblings the whole ride home. This was also my first time seeing snow, and it look so beautiful first thing i did when we got to my uncles house was make the biggest snowball i could and throw it at my brother, a 30 minute snowball fight ensued.
I'll post the other one later after some of you donks hopefully reply.
cliffnotes: I come to america and throw snow at people.

23 years ago after sunday morning mass is something ill never forget for some reason.
its only dad taking me and my brothers to mass as mum isnt there for some reason like every other sunday. after mass, dad stops at the phone box and comes back to the car looking all happy and tells us that we now have a little baby sister. us kids were in the back seat fighting as usual and we just went silent for about 30 seconds before we just carried on as normal.
it was the only sunday that i can ever remember that he never bought the newspapers.
