It's dying off, I think, because people here don't seem to be very helpful most of the time. I've seen some REALLY great posts in the Hand Analysis forum, but I've also seen some really crappy ones (some of mine included).

FWIW, our traffic and post frequency is rises and falls at about the same rate as every other poker forum besides p5's and that's only because it's an elitist clique of MTT pros that constantly brag at each other.

That is the nastiest looking forum software I have ever seen.

Also my best friend who I play live get drunk and geeked out w/ in summer when he comes back from school, said he made a long ass post about how "poker is ruining his life" on there, and the unanimous reply "kill yourself"

Now to me (and him) it was funny, b/c we both are really chill guys, and even though he is kind of a gambling degen, he has a great life. But I imagine to a regular degen, the replys would have had negative effect.

My first post was a poker poem that got me called gay from almost everyone. I "fought" back, that only made it worse. After they were done kicking me around, I realized they’re not all bad.

No matter what someone says to you on this (or any other) forum, even if it's really bad, just say "Jerk" and ignore them/me. Letting some stranger on the Internet or on the street put you on life-tilt is -ev.
