Default Meeting famous people.

So on Saturday I met Denzel Washington. He came into my restaurant with his family. Very cool guy indeed.

Anyone else met anyone famous?

Met Vince Vaughn when I was a waiter at a guest ranch. He stayed for about a week.

He was a pretty good guy most of the time, was an asshole to one of the bar tenders though.

When my dad used to run a big country club in Mass where we lived, I got to carry the scoreboard signage thing and met a ton of golfers. Fuzzy, Tiger (real quick), Shulman, Love, and a bunch of others.

Dale Hawerchuk's son is a golfing buddy of mine, so I've talked to him a few times. I've also run into Paul Coffee in a burger store. I guess I've only really met famous hockey players if that counts.

Was in a strip club with Eric Williams (star lineman for the Cowboys in the 90s), hung out with Bernard Hopkins at a night club, met a few others.

Met a lot of celebs, just go to Vegas occasionally

Funniest meeting, the late Johnny Cochran.

We were in Vegas for Superbowl and UFC, and mandalay bay was having a big lawyers convention. Now, mind you, there are about 20 of us in the restaurant and we see Johnny eating with some others.

3 people of the group go up and ask if they can get a picture with him. Johnny says, "I'm not Johnny Cochran"

It was so obvious it was him that one of my friends looks him dead in the eye and says "Are you fucking kidding me?!?!?!? Lie to the jury Johnny not to me" and then walks away, we were in hysterics for hours.

met Pierse Brosnan a few times.....last time was within a week or so of meeting him previously and he actually remembered my name. not much of a claim to fame but it pisses my gf off so much cos apparently, hes gorgeous or something

met Matty Broderick and SJ Parker loads of times when they come visit their holiday home over here beside relations of mine.......spent one night downing a bottle of Tullamore Dew with them in the corner of a little old bar in the middle of nowhere.....as far as i can remember, they were great fun to drink with

one of my greatest moments though was meeting the chinese guy who was in Batman Begins.....hes a waiter in a restaurant that i go to every now and again and he knows Pierse Brosnan very well who fixed him up with the number.
the director was looking for a "big ugly as fuck looking chinese guy and i instantly thought of you" goes the story.
nicest thing is that fame hasnt changed him one little bit.....his Yuk Sung is still the best ive tasted

minor celebs would include Ronny Drew, Enya and her family members in Clannad, Bono, Daniel O'Donnell and my favourite, Nadine Coyle who i only met recently on a night out in her hometown......u yanks prob havent a clue who they are(except maybe Enya and of course that ponce Bono).
