DERMOT O'LEARY hosted "1vs100" - the fantastic new Saturday Night show for BBC1.

Imagine 100 contestants. 100 people wanting to bring each other down. 100 people wanting to defeat each other! But worst of all 100 people wanting to see each other leave with no money whatsoever! Can they handle the pressure of the arena?

Its going to be tough to win, but each of our contestants will stand the chance of going home with a life-changing amount of money. To do this though, they have to beat all 100 of their opponents by answering questions correctly.

I don't get it. Are they picking the 100 from the audience before taping a la Price is Right or are the contestants pre-selected and you're just on the other side of the monkey cage?

no basically from what i get we as the audeince/contestants are given keypads. Dermat asks questions and as we get questions wrong we get eliminated. Like the light goes out on our seat or whatever.
