Philosphy of LIfe by Gder03
Note; I am under heavy entoxication. This will only impre my spelling/grammer etc... the thesis, or main idea should be fairly genuin.
anecdote:
my dad and i have to meet some friends @ a resterount. they are late, so we get some beers @ a bar/grill. we meet family friends. we eat. after we are done, we talk with the waiter. (this is THE most genuine italliam resteraunt @ my town) he is 30 from iltily.
its about 9;45 abd he joins us. gives me toast, and joins us in a convesration about italiy/culutre. My family has europian/russian haratige. we get deep into it. philosphy of life etc.. very personal. he explains how he feels very loanly, almost a faliure; his friends are al married and having a good time @ home, while is is working @ a resteraunt in a country that he does not like.
he did italian college for 4 years + 2 years of something (law, med , i forget). he came to USA and basiclly ppl said: "sorry your not cut for the job"
so hes 30 serving pasta.
we transgress from job/$/sucess to the guestion; "what is life about?"
afyter several minute of discussion, we conlude; forget about $, poker, internet, cellphones. focus on the trully importanta aspects. for instance; his mom is ill, yetr he is in cali. he hsould be in italy.
im not sure if my point is clear in this post. im guss im trying to say; (especcilayy if your from USA, listen) forget what you have been programmed to do. wake up- go to school/work/make money/slepp/repeate. id dosnt bring joy. (if it does, continue to di it) if your old (30+), you mihgt not be able to switch, but if your young (17-27) you should take some time out from the programmed status quo. go somewhere. instead of depositing into neteller or buying a flatscreen, travell. learn about life. enjoy it.
when we patrked in back of the resteraunt and saw a bunch of whine boxes, we were like "sheeet, we shoiuld grab some. look, its no sweat at all". after the deep convo that i only touched apon here, I can say i am embaressed that i had that initial thaought when i entered the place.
maybe ill elaborate later tonight. surly this essey is a bit dissoriented. (gotta work on summerschool essey for now... due tommorow, in 12hours, havnt started.....lllooooool the italina would sey "screw it")
if this dosnt reach 100 posts like manguys "should i enter this tourny?" my thesis will only prove the factr that we are ideots.

I see what you're saying and it's good to be reminded of this periodically because we all forget about what really makes us happy because we accept our daily grind. My dad and I do dinner every other week and it's different from the weekends that I'm drunk at his bar when he's around. The dinner's are always a bit deeper even if it's just small talk because there's a feeling that's different from what I'm used to that I'm content with and the greatness of that feeling is what reminds me to take a step back somewhere to step forward somewhere else.

you generally have a drinking problem?
nice thoughts tho.....life is only short so we should all make of it what we can
a friend of mine told me recently that he hasnt seen his parents or two sisters in over a year and rarely talks to them....when i asked why, he told me that he is too busy working at weekends to go visit them and never has time at work to call them.....when i asked why he doesnt call them in evenings after work, he told me that he forgets
the modern hectic pace of life means that we all forget at times bout what is really important in life so its nice to see that a slightly intoxicated bloke figured it out

Sometimes I think that alcohol clears the mind as much as it muddles it. For some reason these deeper thoughts and observations take on a certain clarity when I have had a little bit much to drink.
Interesting post Gder. Thanks for the thoughts. Now I am gonna be up all night thinking about what you said.

One will only truely be able to grasp these advanced ceoncepts put forth by gder whilst in a similar state, only then can nirvana be reached.
Sadly I won't be able to do so until next friday, maybe wed.
