you don't start appreciating your family/friends UNTIL you are 30. from 18-30 you are so focused on yourself, starting your own family, and getting ahead. So when you hit 30 you kinda stop and look around.
It's also at this age that parents or grandparents start having medical issues and such, and you get your first scares.
Also at 30 peopel finally stop looking at you as a child. When your 27 your family still considers you their baby. At 30 you are magically transformed into an adult and if you put forth the effort can learn a great deal about your parets and grandparents, not just the BS you grew up with and already know, but how they really feel about things and what their dreams and regrets are.

bah, i know i mite have some sort of different persna on this site...but thats def not how i am in real life...obv.
Id like to recomend a book that has personally changed my life. It is written by one of the greatest pastors...Joel Osteen.
The book teaches you how to truely enjoy life while you are earth.
if n e 1 is depressed,angry,constantly thinks about bad stuff or bad past... or just looking to take a better step forward in life...I recommend the book.
Its called BEST LIFE NOW by Joel Osteen. No one will regret it. Even some of the most macho friends of my read this...and changed them. Its for everyone. so gogogogo get it
