Default Euchre (Marm)

What is some advanced strategy on Euchre? I've played it for years and I play fairly well, but wouldn't consider anything "advanced" Its not nearly as deep as a game as bridge obviosly, but is it like hearts where if 4 players are fairly close in skill its 95% in the cards?

Yeah, its a system. IF A then play B. But where the game really begins is knowing your partner. If you know how they play, and they you, then your set. My wife is usually my partner, and at family get togethers, we play 'king of the hill', where winners keep the table. We usually spend about 6-7 hours at the table. Thats because if I pull early, she knows she can do so later, etc etc.

But yeah, with equal players, it really does come down to the cards, since it basically is a game of rules. Then you need to start taking risks, ie calling with AK and side AA, type stuff. But the ability of your partner to 'communicate' with you is key. Being able to read poker tells is a must have, since you can tell how much others like their hands, and if you should pass or if you should call it spades with Js9sAc when the player to your left has a huge red hand.

I'd be willing to do hand analysis's's if you want help.
