I decided to get a regular job at the Rite-Aid warehouse. My thinking is im not even old enough to go to a regular casino and if poker doesnt work out for me in the future I will have another source of income to fall back on instead of living straight off poker like I was. I make alot less money right now anf im tired everysingle day. Working nights on a 12 hour shift isnt a ride in the park. I do plan on taking poker really serious after I do my 6 month's probation so I can give them my 2 week's notice which if I ever wanna come back they will have to hire me back at the spot.

Errrr.... my friend.... you have that VERY wrong. They don't have to do anything. If they Lay you off, then they are required to (or at least are supposed to) rehire in order of seniority. If you quit, which that is what you are doing, they don't have to do jack shit with you. You left them, they are under no obligation to rehire you. During your probational period, they can fire you for any reason they choose. Even if they don't like you. Once you are off Probation, then they need just cause to fire you. And once your probational period is up, then you are eligble for benefits usually. In My line of work, probational periods can be upwards of 24 months.
Instead of wroking a minimum wage job, what about school? College only demands about half the time as High school, and you can play poker to support yourself. Get a degree or certificate to have a real career of you choose.

ummm, I'm going with Marm on this one. If you leave a job they have no requirement to take you back. Maybe, I stress maybe if you went to school or something that would apply. But, when you leave a job for another job (poker) they have no obligation to you at all.
wy not just stay there 1 or 2 days a week part time?
