I play the same live as I used to online. Same results, only difference is you can look the idiots in the face when they win with something stupid. You've got to look at the volume of hands you play online compared to live. Definitely more volume online. So you experience more bad beats online.

When you're playing live, you play far less hands than online, it's all about hands you've seen. You might win $100 in 20 hands live, and then play 200 hands online and hit one bad streak.

People tend to remember their badbeats and weird hands, and in online poker that happens so much more then in a live game, because you play more hands which automatically leads to more badbeats in your head

Nice regurgitation of poker site psychology. Troy quoted PERCENTAGES. Percentages are not speed dependant, they remain the same NO MATTER how fast or slow the game is played. Same thing with odds, the odds DO NOT CHANGE with speed. And to lay ANOTHER poker site myth to bed you UNLESS ALL the tables are being dealt from the SAME deck hands on OTHER tables DO NOT affect the odds on your table. So the "you have to look at the average over all tables" is a huge load opf BS!.

If you are a UK resident mate, then play at sky poker,a totally fair site where all the odds are average and it's all above board, sky is a huge name in media and wouldn't risk it's image over one of its sideline businesss,I left jokerstars after it just got too much with the blatent mal practise,I spoke too ppl they told me I was paranoid and unlucky ect,the usual shit from conformists, but as soon as I played I sky, perfect!!like live play, regardless of stak sizes ect, completely normal, fair poker!u know the kind?where you're not terrified to AA!!!!!Try it!
