suppose i “knew of” or “perviously worked for” a poker site that hired people to “prop” at there offices and gave these “prop Players” hundreds of dollars in credits every session they logged in for to play against other paying customers every day… is this illegal? as in the long run these players that are putting in there hard earned money will eventually loose to these “props” or the rake will eventually get them…. is seems like they are funding the props to slowly but surly screw there customers out of there money… please reply!

yes they are sitting in the same room at the same office and not propping with there own money, they are being funded by the site (which also runs there customer support and marketing from the same office) 100 dollars for a 4 hour session. The site manager dose not care if you win money but you must just try not to loose... finish your 4 hour session... and generate as much rake as you can. All the props are payed an hourly rate, its about $6 per hour. none of the winning or the raked cash is kept by the props just the hourly rate. the props talk to each other in the office while playing and would say for example: "pleases can some one join me on bad boys" " (which is one of the one/two tables) then once another prop would join they would tell each other what there hole cards are on every deal to determine who has the better hand before raising the other opponents at the table. What should I do this seems highly illegal to me! How do I expose the site?

@kingtofnarg I have proof i worked for the company i have there address the sites that are in question i have bank statements with my salary paid from there account and i have a guide that they gave me called a prop manual. @steve the employees discuss and collude in every hand and are payed an hourly wage to generate action on these tabels... you are given 100 us for a 4 hour session if u bust out after 1 hour you are only paid for 1 hour = +/- $6 us

Not really a big deal, IMO. Just seems like more money at the table for us skilled players to end up winning.

This is turning more and more into a financial frenzy. People will do anything to make profit. Laws become secondary and the tricks to go through legislation perdure.

They have to get there room going. As long its fair play i dont mind and i agree with ipokergood. if its not their money and its good if they generate rake they mind be good victims :-)
