the main problem i see with the site, is that people are getting on the same table with multiple accounts, and driving up the bets by being playing in groups, the other night on pokerstars i was playing and noticed that that the other 2 people on the table would never go against each other on the final bet, they would riase the best and then one would fold leaving the one with the srongest hand to play against me, and is i sat out a game they would also, and would not play against eaCH OTHER, then i said to them its pretty obvious you are either working together or are the same person logged in 2 different accounts, and i have noticed many many of this scenario on many tables now after a few days of playing. It is quite upsetting , and could easily be helped gotten under control by making the tabvles to that players are seated randomly at tables instead of being able to seqarch out other players ( making it so thers nothing stopping people from logging multiple accounts to the same table, say i could network 5 pc,s seat them all at a 6 person table, and milk the poor fool unlucky enuff to join my table for everything he's got) but this discoarges me to no end, and would also explain having better results in tournaments becuase the seatin is random there. any thoughts on this?

Cheating by collusion on pokerstars (Split)

Pokerstars has methods in place to detect multiaccounting and collusion. People who try this often have their accounts closed and their money confiscated.
There are many reasons that they wouldn't play against each other, they may be familiar with each others play and realize it's not profitable playing HU. You should really try to find a table with more than 2 players as Pokerstars has so many tables open all the time.
As far as having better tournament results...You often win at tournaments by just having a good starting hand selection, as well as time and patience enough to play a tournament through to the end. Cash games are an entirely different matter, there's entirely different skill sets that you need to win at cash games, and cash games are honestly harder.

I'll have to admit that I've been in more than a few games where I suspected this was going on -- played one table last month where nobody played against anyone else but me for what seemed to be too long for chance. It's easy enough to go find another table though.

Thers no doubt about it theyy were working together one group even admitted it, but the othe4s didnt have to any1 witnessing it could've concluded nothing else with just a bit of commo sense, not saying every1 i suspected was im sure most proly were not, but the ones that do make me paraniod of em all, lol. But all in all i think it would be much better if the menu was just a chioce of game parameters then randomly matched to a table, to prevent players from seeking out partners, that would greatly improve the chances of a fair game. And i am not suprised they dont do this cuz im sure they have to be aware of this going on which makes me wonder why they allow it . . . hmmm

Well if you truly suspect it, send a note to CS with the HH numbers in question. They will do an investigation. Years ago, I had a similar situation and they had replied they discovered a collusion incident and would take the appropriate measures. Also, post up some of the HH's here so we can take a look for ourselves.

Hey, I have no doubt I'm the fish online. I've done just a minimum of dabbling and dicking around in cyber-poker, but I ain't so slow that I can't tell when it's me against the world. I can stay in the black in flesh-n-blood games (as the past 10 years or so have shown), but I'm lost at the keyboard. Which is one of the reasons I'm here on this site...

Sorry im fairly new to online poker (not new to poker in general tho, been playing since i was 6-7 yrs old) would u mind giving me a quick rundown of how i would find this info? and would it still be available after 3-4 days? would be nice if something was done about it, cuz I took a helluva hit at that table which just really discouraged me and made me totally loose any feeling of a guarantee of fair play online. Thanks.
