    Default Rush poker

I decided that I would play a little Rush poker tonight. Wow full tilt is giving nothing but bad beats.

    In 30 hands I had 3 all-ins

    1: KK vs 10-10, he turned the 10 (All-in pre-flop)
2: AJ vs KJ, rivered the K (He was short stacked so it was nothing to call his reraise of my raise preflop)
3: KK vs AA, I hit the K on flop. (Didn't go all-in until I hit my set this time)
Just seems a bit excessive for 30 hands. (At the end Im only down 20BB)

    Played 20 more hands.
Got KK a 3rd time. Still wont hold up.

    KK vs AA vs 88
    Flop 8-3-3

This is really outrageous for such a small session. AA vs KK twice and AA loosing both times as well as KK loosing to 10-10.

I don't think the site is rigged for any one player to win and others to lose... but wow this is some rake producing hands. I think that I see AA vs KK twice as often as I should theortically (Over the last 25K hands I have played) I would be interested to hear from someone that has played a ton of hands what they have found.

I've played 100,000 hands of Rush Poker (PLO) and everything works out statistically. I have massive swings, but that's just the nature of the game since you are playing so many hands.

What makes it seem so skewed is the # of preflop decisions you see compared to post-flop. If you think about it; playing 20% of your hands pre-flop means for every 1 flop you see dealt you have seen 5 statrting hands: It really skews the way you perceive the action going down

Ok, I can buy that. I just found it crazy odd. I played less than 60 hands last night. I was dealt KK 5 times. They were beaten by 4 suckouts, and then the one time they held up was against AA where I got the suckout. I have played a decent number of hands before, just was surprised to see this kind of dominatation by inferior hands within such a small sample.. as well as to get KK 5 times in 60 hands was ridiculous (I thought this would mean payday; however it led to a huge loosing session)

Thanks for the reply- having played soo many hands that you have seen things even out long term.

If you play long enough you eventually see EVERYTHING. For instance:

    • I have lost holding Pocket Aces and making Aces Full 2 hands in a row to quads --yes two hands in a row!
    • I have been 4-tabling and held Pocket Aces on Each table!

I had a Straight flush Wheel (a-5 straight flush) in & stud Hi/lo and only got a quarter of the pot. Lost to a 2-6 SF and a Wheel.

    You will see everything.

I dont get your complain. You got two badebeats but you badbeated the last guy. So you lost only 2/3 of your allins. Thats not so bad. You need to expect action when youre playing rush poker

My complain is that no favorites are holding up; despite if I have them or not. I ended up having 6 all-ins within about 50-60 hands. I lost 5 to dominated hands and won the last one when I was dominated.

Just seemed outrageous, while producing lots of rake for the site. However, as rudduck pointed out if I played more hands the odds will eventually even out.
