Default getting burned at poker stars

I agree to some extent I watch player after player short stacked with a dominant hand lose the majority of the time to a big stack. I play a lot of 2000 plus re-buys and carry it to the low money most of the time then the cards quit coming I mean (stop) and it amazes me that in the first 10 minutes somebody can be up to 40,000 in chips LOL you can only re-buy once you fall below 1500 and a good amount of the time I have to play crap cards and bluff my way that far and there are times I blow it for myself making dumb-assed mistakes all in all I think it is a shady deal I think the best bet is to play in a casino or home game I think I am done with poker stars LOL but like they say any 2 cards can win (JUST NOT MINE) on poker stars

I haven't played pokerstars in a long time. They burned me too much too often; I remember a hand in a $2 freezeout tourn. 5- way all-in. One of the players called the allin with 74os; he flopped a full house. He was then chip leader after eliminating 4 people in one hand.

If I pulled a small piece of hair out for each cooler I had to ride out, and this means most on-line poker sites. I could comb my hair with my hand.

The dealing software is set to make money for the house. In tournaments, the house can place many bots, feed you the coolers, and the bots take home most of the money.

I agree with what u say, only thing is they win most of the time when I have them covered and dominated. It is my opinion that multi tablers and proven winners over long periods get the best of the bad beats for sure.

Could you please explain that a bit further. I KNOW they are not fair providing the 'randomness' but its nice to watch out for those traps.

Interesting reading, I don't think it's only pokerstars, i've played on many different sites over a number of years and have reached a conclusion i'm pretty sure about and its this:-

The money places are already decided before the first hand is dealt, the players don't know who this will be but the software does, once the money is reached it then becomes every man for himself. This would explain why total idiots with no idea of the game can knock out much better players than themselves and once they reach the money 99% of the time these players will minor cash at best as they are found out for what they are. This keeps the tournament schedule going and means they will not last too long therefore urging you to sign up for another tournament. So when you see some total loon calling AA with 47o and winning it, chances are his name is on it, or at least to make the cash whereas the unlucky holder of AA does not have his name on it this time.

I agree with the post but feel it's used on many sites. The reason the software is written this way isn't tho help one player over another, its strictly a matter of money. The faster the game is over the more tournaments they can have in a given time span. The more tournaments they have the bigger their rake is. They use the same software in both pay games and play money games. I haven't found a site yet that doesn't do this so I guess the software is used by most, if not all.
