    Angry pokerstars

    pokerstars is getting very suspect too me,i just cashed out and deleted the software its gotten that bad,EVERY time i play KK vs Ax i lose,EVERY TIME!!! yet when i play against KK with any ACE,even AA,i lose,its gotten ridiculous! my aces lose to everything 99,88,JJ even 44! its got to the point where im paranoid about even raising with AA,AK,AQ,KK any strong hand! this has been going on for two months with NO exceptions,not an occasional win here and there,every single fucking time,this is not going along with variables its taking the piss.bad beats are common with so many hands but this is ridiculous no?anyone else experience this kind of thing?before you say they have nothing to gain,they gain in that you need to keep depositing,thats what they gain!

    There is nothing wrong with pokerstars, it's not rigged. I don't get why so many of you just join this forum to complain. You are just on a bad run if you keep losing with KK Vs Ax or you are playing KK really badly.

    They really really don't. Or should I say over a big enough sample of hands they won't. There have already been a lot of posts about variance being appalling in general and that is the nature of the beast.

    In MTTs you are more likely to get sucked out on than not because you are asking variance not to smash you up several times in any one tournament. They are well known for being very bad for variance.

    As long as you are all in with another play variance will be absolutely brutal.

    I have no sympathy for people who complain when they shove AA and get called by a k9 or something and get sucked out on. If you play the hand throughout and raise etc evaluate raise call check fold you're variance will go down.

    Having said that I know that in certain times in a tournament its likely you will have to start going all in just face it the odds of getting to a final is very slim.

    Have a look at how often pro tournament players get to the final table and then you will see they get sucked out on an absolute tonne.

    There not hitting a bigger percentage when they they put their chips in with the worst hand. They might be running good, but variance always catches up with them. Check the stats of the players that are playing like donks, and you will see that they are losing players.

    I have been very suspicious of pokerstars recently myself. I have lost alot of times to some very questionable odds over the past few days. Im may not be the greatest poker player in the world but im quite good with maths and the probabilitys are very fishy.

    I've had a similar story about Pokerstars - won about $13,000 in six months then lost about $10,000 over 10 months. I posted about it here- and got a very interesting reply from Steve Ruddock. Check it out here: http://www.pokerforums.org/general-p...tml#post295376

    AA (best starting hand) vs 27o (worst starting hand). Allin heads up pf, AA looses more than 1 in 10 times.
    12.4÷ in fact. They are only 2 cards a long way from the river.
    equity win tie pots won pots tied
    Hand 0: 12.578% 12.40% 00.18% 212248 3118.00 { 7c2d }
    Hand 1: 87.422% 87.24% 00.18% 1493820 3118.00 { AhAs }
    People have created databases of tens (hundreds?) of millions of hands. I have not personally reveiwed the aggregated results, but am very confident that the cards are as random as they can be.

    Except my last MTT (700+) where I busted out 10 spots away from the money, my AA vs 44 heads up. That was rigged

    The simple fact of the matter is that unlike a casino cardroom online poker sites deal many thousands more hands in a similar timeframe so any variance will stand out far more than at the casino or a home game. What discrepancies you may experience at home amongst your friends during weeks of poker play you will most likely encounter in a few minutes online.

    In addition to what TT has said if you play Zoom you will stretch this to the limit as people have ample ability to wait for good cards that isn;t the poker sites fault in as much as it is the fault of the games structure.

    If you have a poker tracker you can record your all in ev which is a great tool as it can steady you through bad beats and when you are running above ev it humbles you into remembering that you don't always get it in good but you don't often remember the bad beat you inflicted on someone either
