The Conspiracy Corner was created to provide people with a place to speak out about cheating and rigged games in online poker. As the number of those threads grew, we decided it was best to give the conspiracy theorists a place to run wild.
We here at Pokerforums.org don't believe that online poker is rigged, be it PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, or what have you. Obviously, there are sites out there that we haven't tried, but we haven't come across anything to make us believe that folks are getting scammed. That is our stance on the matter.
However, a lot of people do think that and take it very seriously. Since we're not in the business of stifling free speech, this forum is for you to inform, complain, whine or just discuss rigged games. Take it away!![]()

Conspiracy Theorists Unite!

Greetings,
I'd like to be the first paranoid fucker to get things rolling here. My theory is that poker software such as Poker Office and other real time odds calculators have contributed to the decline of online poker by increasing the frequency of bad beats, suckouts and general River fistings! When you're an 80% plus favourite to win, and some Knobwit hits the one card in the deck to outdraw you time and time again there's something wrong with this picture.

ok i understand bad beats happen from time to time azeldin ...but NOT for long stretches of time! You get your money in good in an 80/20 adv. and you take 3,4, or even 5 beats in a row, sometimes even more..then something is wrong! And thats not abnormal on sites like PS and FT. It has happened to me on a number of occasions. I stopped playing on those sites when Bad beats became so common that I stop getting upset and started to anticipate it due to the frequency.

@ my last post... basically its a case that absolute poker had where someone gained administrative rights to an account and could see the opposing players hole cards. Won thousands from this.
