After reading the responses in DeCoys "more bad beats, than strategy" thread. What about the addition of a sub forum just designed for hand reviews/analysis? This way river rats can be used for venting, strategy can be used for overall discussions like "what if " scenarios, and the "hand reviews" section will allow for people who are unsure about whether their play was right, wrong, bad beat, etc.

Also discussions from particular hands might then be able to create more thoughts that can carry over into the "strategy" section.

Well... yes and no to me the strategy section seems to be a combination of the 2. Yes there's hands that are posted but alot of times the analysis is "in this exact situation" responses. While others are more of a general strategy discussion about different strategies overall.

A recent example would be something like the AK hand I posted a few days ago. Which got into a big discussion, which led to 1 or 2 different discussions about a general strategy.

I mean some other threads in there are basic "right move, just didn't work out" And again if someone takes a "bad beat" it might not have been a bad beat, it migh've been misplayed and others can learn from it.

So it could basicaly clean up the strategy section and make it more of an overall strategy similar to what books discuss what may or may not be right in situations... Then the "hand analysis" can be used as more of a "this is what I'd do here"... I mean there's even threads in "river rats" that aren't "bad beats" just misplayed hands. So I was thinking something like a hand analysis section might have it's own place for just posting hand histories you're unsure about.

Actually that's a good idea.. taking it into consideration.
