ive seen this way too many times on the forum... is there a way you can have a popup that tells of a new PM when you visit PFO so we dont need that anymore?

It does already... and yes, threads such as these are annoying and worthless - only worthwhile if the users' PMbox is full..

I've never seen a pop-up either...as a matter of fact, if I'm not expecting a PM, I usually don't check that little font on the upper right hand corner of my screen...I figured if I don't, others don't either...which is why the post is there...I'm sorry if it annoys anybody and I won't do it anymore.

I get email notificiation... and when i get email, i get a popup....

User CP -> User Options:

If you are browsing the forums when you receive a new private message, the system can pop-up a notification box informing you of the new message.

Check this ------> Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up
