    Default Using the BHC

    From another post:

I do use the BHC and it doesn't behave all the time but anything I want left in I just add on my own. I've noticed more than a few posters have made know that the BHC doesn't work correctly for them.

Question - is there a reason PFO doesn't have a converter of its own?

Another Question - why isn't there a link-button/shortcut on the 'Reply to Thread' page to make using the BHC more convienent? It should be inclued in the Additional Opitions box. Seems to e that if you want posters to use this tool, PFO should make as easy for them to do so as possible.

BHC is an outside resource, not a PFO creation, and yeah, it doesnt work allt he time, but the majority of the time That I post something, it would work. People arent even trying. I dont mind if they post raw HH's if they dont work in BHC, but nobodies trying.

I'm working on an user App that will create HH's from any format. If anybody wants to take on the immense epical challenge of writing a converter for here that will cover all the sites, then be my guest.

I think that would be good. Is there an answer to my other question?

I'm just an avid poster that has been given mods rights, as are all the mods. That is a question specifically for Kid, the owner of this site.

We have discussed this in the past. Do a search somewhere in the suggestions forum for the details on that issue. The result of that was my creating the BHC Sticky.

What I do: I use Netscape 8, which has Tabbed browsing like Firefox (just get rid of IE) and I open BHC from my bookmarks into a new tab, and use it there. If we were to have a button, then it would have to spawn a new session/tab of your browser. That would be simple enough though.

Only problem I've ever encountered with BHC is when I post a hand history on here if the Ace of Diamonds is in the hand anywhere it won't show up on here. In fact if I try to put it in there from the smiley list it wont post.

    Testing:

I've noticed that the smilies are case sensitive - my manual conversion of Pokertracker's hand histories (go through and add colons to the card descriptions) has to include changing Th to th, for instance.

Hey, are there any alternatives to BHC that we could try? Maybe the sticky could list several and we could choose whichever works best for us.

Does it matter that I'm copying the HH from pokertracker usually?

Certain cards showing up is a client side issue (meaning: Your end). Change browsers.
