We want to get these tournaments going again, but we want a lot of feedback from you guys.
To start with, we're looking at a couple tournaments a month. I'll be organizing the tournaments and I'm new to all of this, so I don't want to suffer a breakdown! Once I get into the swing of things, which I'm sure won't be long, we'll have them more frequently.
When is a good time to have them? Obviously, not everyone is going to be able to participate in every game. We all have obligations like work and sleep, so I'd like to get a feel for the best days and times to have them. Anyone that's interested in playing should chime in. I'm looking for general info, not "Tuesday at 3:30."
The other big question is where we want to host them. Are people willing to check out other sites besides Poker Stars, Full Tilt Poker, and other really popular ones? We'd have to go with one open to US players, obviously, but KiD[ReD] and I were discussing other sites, like Cake Poker, which you can check out by clicking the banner up top.
Would you guys be willing to check out other servers or would you rather stick with the usuals?

Ive never played anywhere other than the normal PS, FT, Doyles, and Cake. As long as the tournament is on the weekend I think it would be easy to attend. Weekdays not so much, for the obvious reason of time differences.

Thanks for the feedback. Weekends do make the most sense, but I'm also trying to gauge what time on the weekends would be good. Where are most of our players located? If they're primarily in North America, then that would be easy because the time difference wouldn't be that extreme. If they're overseas, that's another story.

To start the tourneys back up, I recommend you stick with one of the big rooms until the following comes back. I foresee it being a bit difficult to get a tourney going in the beginning even if it's on one of the "regular" sites. Once it gets going, then look to some of the other sites.
Regarding timing...my guess is that around 2-3:00PM Eastern Standard would work well for the Americas and Europe on a Sunday (maaaybe Saturday). Hope this helps!Well over $300,000 free every month in 2011 with freerolls, rake races, and rake chases!
www.RakeGuard.com has the highest rakeback percentages available.
RakeGuard...more than just rakeback.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think RakeGuard is right about weekend afternoons EST. I'd ideally like to get at least a few more responses before scheduling a tournament, but we'll see what happens.
