    Default WAP browsing of PFO

    Hey Kid, how difficult would it be to get a WAP version of PFO running?

    I'm curently using my crackberry to view and post, but it's a PITA at times having to scroll to see things. I know there are a lot of smartphone (PDA) enhanced sites out there.

    I guess my questions are: Would Kid be willing to add this, and if so, would anyone else utilize the functionality. (It wouldn't make sense to add it if only 1 or 2 people would use it)

    I don't find it too bad. Replying on my phone now, in fact.

    Now if I could watch CardRunner vids on here I'd be set.

    You should be able to view our RSS feed easily on your phone... Pinguaq recently made me set up RSS on the forum. Ask him the details how to access the RSS feed of PFO.

    WAP is a communication (transmission) protocol, what you really want is a mobile CSS. Once the CSS intended for mobile users was created, each page would include a reference in the header similar to the one below.
    Code:
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/mobile.css" media="handheld" />
    All of the CSS elements currently embedded directly in the source pages would also need to be moved to a separate file and references with a

    Code:
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/screenstyles.css" media="screen" />
    Perhaps this CSS could be customized for PFO mobile: Mobile/Cell Phone Style - vBulletin.org Forum

    As for RSS, I have never seen a link anywhere, but use the URL http://www.pokerforums.org/external.php?type=RSS2
    I have never posted from my BB, but will read PFO starting with this RSS feed when I'm bored waiting somewhere
