The other thread was closed- I think it's not a bad idea to extend the trading forum to allow staking proposals too. Sure it can be done via PM, but personally I'm not gonna PM say 10 trusted members to offer a stake. If everybody is cautious and/or the stakes are low enough there should be no drama![]()

while i have no specific problems with staking per se, i would have a problem if there are no hard and fast rules in place for it to protect both the player/staker.
at the moment, the transfers forum is still in its infancy and there are still issues to be resolved as to how its operated and moderated(imo). Adding in a staking forum at this point in time would create more problems that it would be worth. For the best rakeback rates, greatest choice of poker rooms, more promotions, tournaments and bigger $$$ freerolls than any other rakeback affiliate, visit RakeTheRake, one of the largest and most reputable poker rakeback affiliates in the world.

I didn't mean an extra staking forum, more to extent the existing trading one. I haven't looked how much traffic there is right now. If it is low enough it should be ok, otherwise I understand that it would get too cluttered.
Regarding protection I see little difference between staking and trading. In both cases you can never fully protect the members.
And for the record i'm only interested in offering stakes. Haven't played a poker hand since months

If we turn transfers into a transfers/staking forum then I recommend adding someone like clampre and south as a moderator strictly for that forum.

I wouldn't be against people staking or advertising for stakes in the transfers forum as long as they know it's AT THEIR OWN RISK and very limited in terms of moderation (compared to a place like neverbeg for example). And as long as people don't bitch to me when they get rolled.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.
I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

Basically if someone stakes you they'll give you x amount of money to play with, under certain conditions.
Like you might ask for someone to stake you to play 10nl and they may come in saying ok i'll give you $200 as long as you play that and only that etc. They could then ask for something like 50% of profits etc. plus stakeback over a certain length of time. For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.
