The ideal PFO would have arguements over POKER issues that do not spiral into a flamefest. There's nothing wrong with saying "you played that hand like an idiot, here's what I would have done" But, to simply say "you are an idiot" is wrong.

no, calling someone an idiot and than explaining it is still wrong, there is a more polite way to tell someone they played the hand wrong. i have intentionally flamed people on the forums before, and for the most part i think most people have, but i believe this forums CREATES these posters.
anyone with a post count less than 100 is flamed like crazy, and when these posters who were flamed until they reached 500 posts, in turn, flame new members because they consider it some sort of hazing. Its a vicious flamming cycle!

and as far as all the senior members bashing the forum because the post quality isnt what it used to be in the "old days" thats hog wash. if you are not satisfied with the quality of this forum, YOU do something about it, set an example by starting a thread that hasn't been posted a million times. maybe a theory about poker that you would like to share with the forums. but dont complain about how crappy the forum is when the post consistency from some of the senior members has diminished substantially.

im not trying to offend anyone by any means, but im sick of not feeling like im apart of this forum, especially when A LOT of hypocrisy is going on.

How are you supposed to have discussion on that. Also, do i really need to hear in the glory corner how you made a donk call and won 5.76 with Q4o? Save the glory corner for a cash in a big tourney or 100BB pot, massive run on tourney etc.

Plain and simple, more people need to post hands in HA for analysis and more people need to get involved with actually debating the hand and not just believing everything someone says "because they play higher limits".

I wouldn't mind seeing players like wota and TA who clearly wouldn't benefit a lot from posting in there to post threads more often just to share lines of play/thought patterns and get some more advanced discussion going. PFO would certainly benefit
