I fully agree with you. Imo it's their own fault. I learned basic ABC poker from PFO, mostly from Jason and ypsieeast who don't post here anymore, but we have enough others who should be able to teach the same lessons. When I came here, I had virtually no idea how to play poker except some random strategy tips from websites ("how to play hold'em" summarized on a single page- LOL).

Cbets are where I think I have a lot of trouble. When I miss the flop in 1st position, I always check. This always thing doesn't seem to make a damn bit of difference with the morons I play against, but it does seem like I'm missing out on this here.

I guarantee that ppl like David, or Kr8tor have improved b/c they make an effort to post hands and get feedback. I know at times they will post like 10 hands in a two day span.
Well as of the past month I have probably played 2 hours of poker.. so that kind of contributes to it too. I don't learn from just my mistakes. I like to evaluate other players as well...

What annoys me is when I post a hand and only get like 2 response.

Your titles are pointless. If you have a story to tell, give it a title. After #10, I never know if I've already responded to it or not or I'd respond more, personally. Titles are more important than people think.

I always thought my fun titles sounded gay.....

Plus I swear people were more likely to look if I did it all generic like. Not sure why.

I agree Kre8r.

Titles like "$NL$10 - How badly did I fuck this up" would be better.

Greay post Dee got a little off topic at the end but that ok.

Personnaly I get a laugh out of flaming in the general discussion area. If you don't want to get flamed don't be an idiot. Flaming someone in the strategy session when they are truly looking for help is a different matter entirely. Unless they wont listen to good advice and create an argument because they feel their donk play was the right play... then flame away.

In posting hand histories even on cardrunners I only get a couple of replies to my hand histories. Although I will usually get a more in depth analysis.
