This is way out of line. These guys have had too much history here to be outright banned. We give new people a few weeks or so of trolling before we get pissed off enough to ban them. This is way over the top. Anytime anybody disagrees with you steve, you lose your top. I'm unbanning these guys just based on their histories alone. They deserve the right to speak their minds as they wish, and they deserve more leniency than some noob troll.

I have always touted that PFO is a totally freedom of speech forum, that no comments will be edited or deleted just because we do not like them. IF that means we have to suffer through personal attacks, then so be it. To control the content of the posters is the worst thing we can do. Continued Troll like activity should not be tolerated, but well established posters do not are not trolls, regardless of your personal opinions of them. Yes, I personally have been guilty of closing threads and banning people for continued trollish behavior, but I have never edited or deleted posts for reasons other than comedy or spam control. And every time I have edited, for comedic reasons, a post, I have let the OP aware of my intentions so they could object if they so wished.

No that is for notifying us (PFO Staff) of Spammy posts. If you disagree with a post, it is not necessarily a bad post

Mamrm, you are not the head mod and are going over the heads of both myself and Alex who are in agreement. You cannot unban them just because they are your buddies.

I could care less if they are my buddies.

I see no reason to ban these guys at all, mainly because you edited the history.

I have no clue why you get so offended by the smallest comments here. I deal with conflict resolution everyday, in fact I got shot at yesterday. My focus in my training (couple credits short of a degree, damn school) is Crisis Resolution (ie hostage negotiation stuff). You are the type of person we would have to remove from a scene because you cause instability and escalation.

I am just a volunteer mod who is just trying to do the best thing possible for the site, and not my ego. I am here because this is a good home for us to discuss poker in a relatively smaller community without dictoral moderation going on. I was at another site that limited the free speech, and it went to shit. I DO NOT want that happening here. The only way we can keep PFO as free as possible is to not limit people's opinions and ideas, but to accept and intelligently counter them.

And yes, I beleive this is the right forum for this discussion.

Yes, very. And I agree with Beavis's thread about your suitability for being a mod. This is a recurring theme at PFO, A regular disagrees with Steve-O, theres an arguement, he get's banned.

Steve, you're an excellent theoretical and tactical poker player, but anytime anybody disagrees with you, it gets ugly. That is unacceptable.
