I gave him the 1 day ban because he is a long time poster, someone else would have had at least 3 months. It really doesn't bother me at all, and I stated this in the mod section. If he wants to air a little dirty laundry that is fine, we have many threads of debate in the mod section, and thats where I will leave them. Let's just say that Irexes and myself have 2 different moderation styles and he was unwilling to work with me, and I'll leave it at that.
I don't care one way or the other if he comes back or not. The forum is bigger than any one, two, ten people, myself included. I have been gone for a month and it lived on, Alex was gone longer and it lived on. With or without Irexes, or Beavis, it will live on.
I hope that they come back, but in the same breath they have a healthier attitude.

Wow, that comment speaks volumes. A moderator should care about the community, not only his elite staff. This is the main reason why you are getting the negative responses Steve, and I'm sorry to say that I believe most of those responses are spot on.

I think it has been in general. I love how I try to offer some constructive criticism and get treated like shit. PFO has experienced waves of trouble in the past and has gotten through them, but lost important members along the way. Unfortunately, we're in the middle of another one of those periods, and we continue to lose valuable members. (Note, I am not blaming anyone in specific, as I think many of us have contributed to some of the problems.)
