About LinkBackswhen someone sends u a private message thru this site, and it says so and so requests a "read receipt". OK or Cancel. What exactly does that mean?
what exactly is a read receipt?!

Hit cancel.
A read receipt tells you when they have read your message. But really, it's just a pain in the ass.

When you send an PM is asks you if you want a recipt. I always push "cancel" (meaning "no") becasue they ARE such a pain.
I'm CDO. It's like OCD, but everying is in order just like it should be.
