  1. Trying to get motivated

    The recent final table action at the 2012 WSOP final table and all of the wonga flying around always has a desired effect on getting me to play poker. Can't say watching Wimbledon has the same effect though

    Some events just motivate me to do something in the same way that books do. Reading Dusty Schmidts first book was inspirational as was Tony Holden's book "Big Deal" which just made you want to turn pro.

    I have been grinding the NL50 and NL100 ring games ...

    As always, I watched the WSOP Main Event final table to see the results, but also with a critical eye, looking for some of the stranger things going on at the event. Here is what I noticed at the 2012 final table.
