Default PokerForums.org's New Prop Deal: Earn up to 125% Rakeback

PokerForums.org has teamed up with RakeBackNation.com and MadPokerProps.com to offer you a spot on the largest and most reputable online prop team.

What is a Prop Player?

A prop is simply a player who helps the casino/cardroom get games started and going. Props are legal, and are common in both brick and mortar and online cardrooms.

In exchange for starting and saving games, props are paid by the room – either by 100%+ rake rebate or a set amount per hand dealt.

PartTimePoker.com and MadPokerProps.com manage a large team of prop players and works with several established and newer online poker rooms. If you’d like more info, just complete the quick request form located here.

Here are answers to some questions newer players typically have about propping:

Frequently Asked Questions:
--------------------------------

Why do cardrooms need props?:

Cardrooms use prop players to start new games and to maintain/build shorthanded games so that when customers show up they have games to jump into. Prop players are extremely beneficial for online card rooms because they are cost neutral and because they help the sites traffic grow by starting games.

What sites can I prop at?:

We choose to respect the privacy of the poker sites we provide services to until you complete the initial set-up process. You will have all the information you need before you make a final decision. Simply sign-up for more information on getting started.

How much will I get paid?

Some sites pay 100% rake back and some pay a per hand rate. Exact details on which site pays what, will be given to you before you make a final decision.

What's the catch?:

There really is no catch, but in an effort to be as honest as possible, I will mention two small downsides to being a prop.

1. As a prop, your job is to help get games started and going. That means you have to be willing to play shorthanded. If you’re not willing to play shorthanded, you won’t like propping.

2. The nature of propping is that you work at smaller sites. Large sites with lots of traffic don’t have a need for props.

Do I have to play a set schedule?

No. You come and go as you please. You do have to follow some basic rules set down by the room.

Why prop with RakeBackNation.com and MadPokerProps.com?

We are the largest independent prop team online, hands down. Our size means we get the best pay from rooms. It also gives you access to a community of props that can show the ropes, and, more importantly, the knowledge that we’re not some fly-by-night affiliate website. Our team has been around for over 2 years and we’ve worked with thousands of players. Feel free to solicit feedback about us from major poker forums – we’re confident you’ll like what you hear.

A Testimonial From KiD[ReD]:

I signed up as a prop myself a week ago (at the time of this posting). Even though I'm not a limit player (required for the site I signed up at), I wanted to give it a shot, as 110% rakeback was just silly.

I played the $2/4 tables, and the competition was extremely weak. There were two small downsides at the site I was propping at. First, the software wasn't the greatest, although I got quickly used to it. Secondly, there was not a lot of players on, and it would be almost impossible to 5-table, but I never had a big problem getting a game when I wanted to play.

Anyhow, I caught some bad luck, and went bust, after playing head's up with a guy who caught a lot of runner runner and rivers.

Here's the good part. I played about a total of 4 hours each day for two days, on only ONE table of $2/4 limit. Guess how much I raked? $258.07. I couldn't, and still can't, believe how much I raked. Online cardrooms really do make a bundle - I knew they made a lot, but never knew how much!

So I am extremely pleased with being a prop. If you break even, you are still way up!
