The villain in this hand had just joined the table. I was more bothered about the guy on the button - he seemed to be stealing a lot of pots.

After the flop it was always my intention to check-raise due to the aggressive nature of the game - was this a mistake with there being 2 diamonds on the board? I was very confident that the button was going to bet. Was I right to push?
