Red face Looking for feedback 7 Card Stud Players pls Read

Hey Mods, I'm not sure if i'm putting this in the right forum, but feel free to redirect it if its not and I won't argue with you! :-)

I'm just looking for some feedback on 7 Stud. I just started playing it recently, I started with a $25 bankroll on PokerStars, as it has always been my site of choice, especially for stud because there are generally more table's open and if I don't like the dynamics at one table I can hop to another or change limits easily and at any time...

But anyways. I just played like a 6 Hour session that was really really awful. I was playing limits well above my bankroll.

As I had said previously I began with a bankroll of $25, I used that to play 7Stud at $.10/$.20, when I doubled my bankroll up I moved to $.25/$.50, and although I realize this is probably playing limits above what is recommended I argue I'm trying to expand my bankroll as quickly as possible until I reach a bankroll big enough to play higher limits and cash out frequently without hindering the size of my available roll....I must mention, I am a college student, and therefore money is not something I have a lot of. I have often thought about depositing my $4K loan from school.... :-) But I'm smart enough not to do that. I'll build my bankroll from scratch, the way I feel it should be done, gaining knowledge and knowledge from played hands.

So after the $50 mark on my roll I shot for $100, where I moved up to $.50/$1.00. Like I said I know following 100X BB is probably considered underrolled.... I will play with a bankroll of 300X BB when I make it there.

Now I am up to about $260 and have been multitabling at $1/$2. Usually only two tables at a time. When I took some rough beats and was down $100 earlier I also neglected my own sanity and moved into a $3/$6 room to snatch it back, which fortunately I was able to do so...but won't do again.

I plan to stay at $1/$2 until I reach $800 or so.

Please look at the percentages below and tell me if I'm calling down/staying in what seems to be an appropriate amount of the time. This was a very session with a decent number of hands so it is probably a 'reasonable' estimate of the game i've been playing consistently.

479 Total Hands
Saw fourth street 187 times (39%)
Saw fifth street 134 times (27%)
Saw sixth street 96 times (20%)
Reached Showdown 55 times (11%)
Pots Won at Showdown 22 of 55 (45%)
Pots Won Without Showdown 56

I did not profit much from this session as a result of some very terrible beats in the early hours. But I grinded back over the top from a substantial deficit and ended up making only a few bucks profit at the end of the day.

If anyone takes the time to send some feedback, I'd greatly appreciate it. I have fallen in love with 7 Card Stud Hi, and I don't know if I'll ever play Hold'em again.... except maybe for the limelight of a big tourney with my stud profits occassionally.
