CR is always good as long you can be reasonbly sure the guy is going to bet. In that hand you got lucky, if i was last to act in omaha i wouldn't bet a Q high flush on the river, with a paired board, if you put a gun to my head. It was lousy play by him that paid you off, but if you think that someone will be bet, check to them a let them bet.

If you've been betting out, every round, and then act scared and check when the draw lands, it is more likely they're going to bet, but given the way that guy played you probably could have got more by betting, him raising, and then reraising. He'd been calling all the way down to the river hoping for a heart to land, theres a good chance he would have raised instead of calling now he had made his hand.
