wow great flop no flush draws, not much in the way of straight draws and I have the nuts here, they all checked around to me but I figured I better not give them anything so I bet hoping to get re-raised which I do. I think for a moment about slow-playing it but figure these idiots will probably call 2 bets cold, which they do

I figured the 9 is a decent card, my lone opponent raised me on the turn..indicating that he may have been slowplaying a set of the 8s or had 2 pair, I re-raise even though I don't have the nuts. He re-raises, so I just call

Did I mess this hand up or was it just another terrible beat? I looked it over and I think I did everything right, I played it fast and still got burned
