Everybody already does that since there in the lead and will take a shot regardless especially on the button. The problem with that is what the flop brings and if you haven't raised then you could have anything. I get a better feel for what is going on when someone raised pre flop vs. what the board brings than not. It's not always an advantage when you raise pre flop assuming you have a premium hand since everyone will put you on one. Of course you need to change gears to confuse people too.
