Jesus nu2 you are making me feel old.lol Seriously on the east coast before the woods opened in 92 there used to be tons of las vegas nights running every night of the week.Mini casinos if you will and tons of poker action with no cap on pots as they have down in florida.And house games galore and by far the most popular game dealt was omaha with 5 cards preflop called no-brainer.It did get a little ridicules when people started playing the game with two rows of board cards and calling it double no brainer.lolAnother great one was texas holdem played with 4 cards prelop and throw away one before the flop and one after the flop.A bit like pinapple but even worse.lolCertainly did provide for some wild action.Picked up my tight play playing in these games because as you can imagine omaha played with two rows of board cards no hand was safe.lol
Anyway a bit of of nostalgic topic drift but cheers to us old salts.I hate you young guns you have so much time to improve your game and become great players before you reach 25 with the explosion of online poker.But hey i aint that old and i love this game and am picking up some great tips from you young guns.GL AT THE TABLES
