there is a difference between smart agression, and blind agression.

Your bets should generally be for value, and with the knoweldge that in large pots, it is usually more profitable to win the pot now, then to get called by a draw. So you bet enough to make it unprofitable for them to call.

This doesnt mean betting the pot into 5 people with AK on a flop of 25T.

Some situations it is better to sit back and let someone else drive, but most of the time playing straight forwardly and betting your hands for value is the best course.
