the people on Live at the Bike call it a "Stop Bet" its a really good strategy, especially when you dont want someone to bluff into you.... consider how much money you would feel comfortable calling, and instead bet that amount.. along with a small amount of FE (possibly) you take the lead in the hand, you won't get bluffed into (unless the person realizes it's a stop bet) and you probably stay in cheaper than if you let someone else bet the pot... very common play for people with draws in early position... I do it frequently, and i think it is a good idea
