Given the average stack at this point is 4050, and the relative average stack is usually less (theres usually one or two knuckleheads with 8k-12k at this point), meaning the majority of the players are short stacked, I m,ay have flat called this, not wishing to commit the majority of my stack on a drawing hand. IF the flop was favorable, then I push.
Normally, we would consider this push textbook, but with the blidns as high as they are and the number of players and amount of chips in play, I think a more passive, waiting play would be appropaite here. Wait for the bubble (6-7 players left), get aggressive, double your stack through steals, tighten up a bit once the bubbel bursts, and make 3rd or better spot, thats where the money is.
And yeah, that woulda been a favorable flop, worst case you got 13 outs, best case 19 outs, with 2 to come, 50% to 80% on that flop... thats a push .

Yeah... looking back, it's what i think I should have done. Despite the fact I probably had a rock image (18% of FS), I had no hand, I knew that guy would have call with a baby pocket.
However I also knew he would have call with any A... In both cases, it would have been better to just flat call. And push the flop.
Better luck next time.
