My workouts are similar to my sports training, just less days, obviously.
On Tuesday, I jog a mile, walk half a mile to cool down, lift in sets, and hit the sauna. Thursday, I hit the bike for half and hour, hit the same Tae-Bo class that I've hit since my fist year, walk a mile slowly as a cool down.
In high school, I did 2 days of weight and 3-4 of cardio. I'm in fairly good shape for my lifestyle and the weights keep me toned and distributing my weight properly. The cardio just minimizes potential heart problems in my family. I am a student in a fast food, hot dog, pizza city and I'm a smoker. Cardio enhances my endurance which is really my key.
4 days of weights require a good build up. Going from 2 to 3 days is a big jump and 4 is definitely a max.
