He wanted to trap you on the turn, then he gave you credit on the river. I don't really see this hand as weak.

He could have been a little more aggressive on the flop though, but since you were heads-up, he may not have the equity - and you aint folding. You showed PF strengt, so AK or KQ woulndt be out of the question.

I probably would have check-raised the turn, but that is a total give away of your hand.
