you definitely need to read literature. But in all honestly there is a wealth of ideas right here: Google

which is really enough to get you started. but the more you read, the more you know, so if you're serious about poker, you should get as much info as possible.

starting out, the main things you need to learn are:

1. starting Hand requirement
2. Pot Odds
3. Position
4. Betting/Raising properly
5. Basics of Reading opponents

those things alone will have you beating the micro limits. as you move up you will need a lot more skills i imagine, but experience, and learning will come with time, just be patient
