Well I could be misunderstanding you but just something to remember its almost never right to call a gutshot straight draw the odds are just too long. I seem to remember it being about 1:40 or 44 correct me if I'm wrong guys as I probably am. To find out your odds, just count all unknown cards. That is 52 minus your 2 hole cards, and the 3 board cards, for a total of 47 (52-5=47).
4 cards make your gutshot straight, so it's 47/4 or about 12:1.
